Sold a phone on swappa, buyer attempting scam - can I blacklist ESN?
Long story short, I sold a sprint Galaxy S III on swappa. Buyer is claiming it wasn't delivered, though tracking shows it was, and buyer has been caught lying about incorrect address on label (impossible to know without seeing the label, he claimed to have seen a picture of the label - this does not exist, USPS does not image labels). Yadda yadda, my paypal account got a charge back while they investigate etc etc. I basically want to know if there is anyway I can have the ESN blacklisted until it is sorted out, even though the phone which I owned, and then sold with a clean ESN, can be blacklisted until the issue is sorted out. Because the phone was either delivered to the buyer, who is claiming he never received it, which would be theft, seeing as the payment has been taken back due to buyer's false claims, or it was, as buyer alleges, delivered to his next door neighbor, in which case it's lost and/or stolen as well, as the package was addressed to him. Anyway you slice it, at least until buyer admits he has the phone, it is technically lost and/or stolen. Just looking for any advice or recommendations.
